It's been an exciting week here in the Renaissance household
with the addition of retired greyhound,
Jake ,
who is proving to be a real gentleman
as we don't have a cockeril.
So we've purchased some, hopefully, fertile bantam eggs from ebay
and we're waiting patiently.
We will of course keep you posted on the results.
I used to work with someone who always had a couple of retired greyhounds, which are lovely dogs and make great pets.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the chicken eggs! xx
What a handsome dog he is and I'm sure he will be a great asset to your household.
ReplyDeleteI loved the photos on a previous post of the Blackbird being fed and also the photos of flowers from your grandmother's garden, beautiful blooms and lovely memories for you. The woodland flowers were just lovely!
Good luck with both dog and chook!
ReplyDeleteGreyhounds are fabulous pets. We have a whippet and a wolfhound as well as a collie. Now house is a home with out a dog!
