Clematis Armandii

Walk down our garden path and the sweet fragrance of Clematis Armandii will engulf your senses. Look up and you'll see a mass of white blossom against the pale blue sky.

Armandii is the only fragrant clematis, it's flowers will last several weeks in spring time and it will sometimes flower again in August. Even when not in flower it is extremely decorative with it's long dark evergreen glossy leaves. It orginates from China and is an extremely vigorous climber.

  1. Ours here will not bloom until about June..the little shoots are about 3" high! I love clematis!

    your post took me straight back to our cottage in Kent - we had the armandii growing over our porch - when in full bloom folk would stop and take pictures - simply beautiful
    i wonder if it would grow here?

    also thank you so much for your offer of help - we have such a wide range of prizes from folk and not all are handmade - your idea of vintage is wonderful... we even have the amazing miss pickering offering to send her flowers within the u.k :)
